กก Jiumenkou Great Wall
A nine-gate, 110-meter-long bridge sits astride the Jiujiang River to regulate the flow and hold off any invading enemy. Hence the name "Jiumenkou" which meaning "Entrance to Nine Gates." The sluice gates on piece of granite slabs, and the piers were linked by U-shaped iron loops. Each gate is 5 meters wide and an encircled city was installed on each end of the bridge. The local people refer to the pass as "a row of stone piers." The pass has suffered serious war damages, but retains its contours even today. In 1992, this spot was repaired and opened as a tourism resort.
